Certified quality management
In July 2011 UNIKAI Lagerei- und Speditionsgesellschaft mbH, Hamburg, was officially certified according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2008 by Germanischer Lloyd.
For the first time, a company based in the port of Hamburg has been granted this certificate for its entire range of services as a multi-functional terminal.
All operations in connection with the handling of vehicles, containers, heavy goods and break-bulk cargo, their positioning and storage as well as all forwarding services are subject to a continuous improvement process.
What was the motivation for implementing a quality management system?
To cut a long story short: we realized that a quality campaign involving continuous improvement of our services is a paramount aspect of our corporate policy.
The continuously increasing quality demands made by our customers in the car and capital goods industry require that their business partners focus their thinking on quality.
